Among the most curious landscapes that you can find in Lanzarote, is the Rofera de Teseguite, an ideal place for photography or hiking.
The rofe is extracted from the volcanic cones that contain it, so these particular places are called “roferos” or “rofera”, some of which become part of the characteristic landscape of a place, both for its colors and its degradation.

Both viewpoints offer a spectacular panoramic view of Lanzarote and the Chinijo Archipelago.

Aria Viewpoint

In the north of the island, somewhere along the narrow and winding road that descends to the village of Haría, a viewpoint of the same name awaits, among palm trees and dragon trees, ready to be discovered.

Viewpoint of the river

Inaugurated in the 1970s, it is one of the most representative architectural works of César Manrique for the integration of man’s hand in the natural environment, a harmonious formula that unites art and nature.

“Haría displays a soothing and harmonious magnetism”, César Manrique.
The municipality of Haría is located in the north of Lanzarote, it is known for having a special microclimate that makes its lands the greenest of the island. This municipality is known by the nickname of the Valley of the Thousand Palm Trees, you can also find other tropical species such as tuneras or cactus.

Its landscapes are among the most unspoiled in the northern part of the island, emblematic volcanic views of great geological and scenic importance and natural
. Here you can also appreciate the Corona volcano, imposing and spectacular, with trails that ascend to the crater of the volcano will surprise you how life is born between lava, with a variety of endemic flora and lichens growing to give rise to a unique landscape.

Perfect name for the characteristic sand of the place, white and clean as few is one of the protected beaches in the north of Lanzarote. A natural pool of crystalline waters occupies a large part of this dreamy corner dotted with volcanic lava. Its turquoise waters, tranquility, the quality of the natural sand and the almost guaranteed sunshine are priceless.

Los Jameos del Agua is the first Center for Art, Culture and Tourism created by César Manrique. It is located in a natural space originated inside a volcanic tunnel. Inaugurated in 1968, this emblematic place represents the highest expression of Manrique’s ideology: artistic creation in harmony with the environment and nature.
